Commercial Collections: Collections arising from commercial transactions are the core area of our practice. These include claims for goods or services, claims arising from commercial loan transactions, commercial insurance premium collections as well as claims arising from all other business related debt. Construction Claims: Claims arising from construction require specialized expertise. These claims often involve mechanic’s liens, payment and performance bonds, mandatory arbitration and many other complexities. We regularly handle these cases on behalf of material suppliers, service providers and other creditors who are owed money arising from a construction project. Insurance Subrogation: We represent many major insurance companies seeking to recover losses from a responsible third party. These claims might arise from automobile accidents, fire losses or other casualties. Our firm belongs to the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP). Attorney John Stanzel heads our subrogation department and holds a certification as a Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional from that organization. Consumer Claims: Claims involving consumer debt have become a growing area of our practice. We represent many financial institutions including banks, finance companies, credit card companies, automobile finance providers and debt purchasers in recovery of their consumer-related obligations. Other Areas: Our firm handles a wide variety of other creditors’ rights matters. These include enforcement of judgments issued by other states, replevin actions to recover secured collateral and other property on behalf of creditors, claims on behalf of governmental agencies for unpaid taxes, assessments and related obligations and other general trial and appellate representation in matters involving creditors rights. In addition to state court representation, we represent creditors before the New Hampshire Bankruptcy Court in matters such as motions for relief from automatic stay and related proceedings. |
